Inform & Transform

Though these are grief-filled and challenging times, I believe a better, more just, and more beautiful world for everyone is on the horizon. I’m hoping to play my small part in helping make that vision a reality by crafting content that does four things:

  • exposes the current reality

  • illuminates the past

  • analyzes the root causes of harm

  • and amplifies initiatives that promote lasting positive change in the world

 
 

My Background

In 2017, I decided to start an interview series that explored the personal motivations for taking up arms. It lead me all around the world, interviewing former combatants in Lebanon, Iraq, Colombia, Northern Ireland and elsewhere.

Somewhere on that journey, I began to explore, understand, and document the root causes of harm and the incredible people around the world who are seeking to address them. Recently, I decided to share these discoveries with the world.

These days, I have to be intentional about filling up on hope. Without hope, I get stuck and frozen. So even when things seem dire, desperate, and unchangeable, I have to conjure the belief that a better future is possible. Because for me, despair
